The most recent OneDrive for Android update has enabled in-application video playback capabilities, allowing clients to stream the videos directly from their record.
OneDrive is quite feature packed when it comes to media abilities, as it already supports music streaming to the Xbox Music application on select platforms which do exclude Android. However, Android clients now have a new feature that can be just as helpful while on the go.
The most recent update being rolled out on the Google Play Store for OneDrive lets the clients stream videos stored on their account without leaving the application. Additionally, the application now supports enhanced photograph organization with albums. File sharing is likewise enabled with the latest version of OneDrive for Android, making it easier to send links to stored files from inside the application.
OneDrive for Business clients can benefit these features too if they have a qualifying Office 365 or SharePoint Online plan. The Play Store listing of the OneDrive application can be found here.
