An unlocked and contract free, Sony Xperia XZ can now be purchased in the US markets. The company has priced the phone at $699.99. It has been long that Xperia XZ made its debut in IFA. However, the device altogether isn’t for sale neither has it collaborated with any carriers as an alternative, it is reliant on Amazon.
Although Sony is renowned for cool features the smartphone has been known to lag behind in RAM and display which makes Xperia XZ a bit too pricey for $699.99 compared to the other smartphones of other companies.
The Xperia XZ has been built on Snapdragon 820 processor with a 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded with a microSD card. It dawns a 13mp front camera and an impressive 23mp rear camera.
The battery of the phone is 2900mAh. It has a 5.2″ full HD display with a resolution of 1920 pixels x 1080 pixels. Although the resolution is perfect for the screen size there are other rival companies that have flagships with QHD resolution of 2560 pixels x 1440 pixels and are available at lower prices. The specs are all enclosed in a sleek metal body frame which gives it a classy look.
The phone has much to offer to its users but the price is a bit too much on the higher side. Its rival companies have already floated such handsets in the market which are available at lower prices. To sum it all – Sony is making a posh proposal with its Xperia XZ for what it’s offering.
For those who are considering the buy, you can hit the Amazon store where the phone is available in graphite black and platinum colours.
You would also want to know that the US versions of the Xperia XZ are not enabled with the fingerprint scanner.
