Samsung plans to keep the events of 2016 far from their heads and intend to kickstart the new year with a bang, and they have rightly dined so by announcing the launch of a new budget smartphone. The South Korean telecommunications giant is launching a new Galaxy Series A phone.
Galaxy Series A Smartphone Range
The new Galaxy Series A smartphone range was introduced by the company with the launch of the 5.7-inch A7, 5.2-inch A5, and 4.7-inch A3. The 2017 version of the phones will obviously feature new upgrades on the old versions which include a dust and water resistance together with an improved 16-megapixel front and rear facing camera, for all ranges.
Samsung targets the young and trendy group with its Galaxy A smartphones for those who can’t afford the much costly Galaxy phones. Obviously, many people are looking forward to the Galaxy S8 which is scheduled to launch later this year, but for those who can’t afford the high-end phone, they can set their eyes on the 2017 Galaxy A range.
The Samsung Galaxy A smartphone range is expected to be launched in Russia first in early January before it is finally expanded to the global markets.
There was no immediate comment from Samsung about the pricing and availability of the smartphone before we could go on print.
The South Korean giant will clearly be hoping that the cheap alternative will be able to clearly offset the red they got from last year’s disastrous Note 7 campaign which saw a total recall of the phone after people complained that it caught fire immediately after charging it.
