It just two years Samsung came up with their own music streaming service Milk Music for Samsung users and now this service will go off in just a month. Samsung has stated on Friday that, this service will be discontinued in the US from September 22nd as the company plans to concentrate their focus on partnering with other good music streaming companies. Samsung went on to explain that this strategic decision is to invest their time and effort in a partner model that is highly focused on integrating the music streaming service available in the family of Galaxy devices.

According to Samsung, it will result in a more innovative idea that will not only drive the sales of their devices rather will boost the customer’s experience to a great level.

Samsung Will Discontinue Milk Music From September 22

Milk music streaming service was introduced in 2014 March that came as a good alternative to Google Play music which works a lot like Pandora, Spotify, Rdio etc. This slacker based radio service came packed with so many nice features to let users create their own stations or else listen to the pre-programmed ones. Also, it features 200 genre based and the curated stations along with more than 13 million songs.

However, this sudden decision of discontinuing their own music streaming service does not mean that the company’s goal to coming up with the independent app is over rather they notion is to come up with more and more advanced app in partnership with other focused music streaming services.
