Keep free yourself this Friday as President Barack Obama is all set to take part in a Facebook Live discussion with Facebook CEO and Co-founder Mark Zuckerberg this coming Friday. This session is scheduled as part of a conference on technology from the emerging markets.
The White House made an announcement that on Friday during the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in Palo, Alto, California President Obama will deliver his remarks after which he will be engaged in discussion with Mark Zuckerberg and other younger entrepreneurs. The president is said to focus on connecting the Silicon Valley’s brightest minds and investors with the fledging tech innovators from around the world.
Facebook has tried to push its video offerings a lot through various ways and it is now paying outlets like CNN, New York times, Buzzfeed more than $50 million so as to encourage them in producing more live video content. Even the CEO itself hosted several Q&A sessions on the platform to make Facebook live more popular.
On the other hand, this is not clear what form the Facebook live will take as Mark Zuckerberg did not ask the users for sharing any questions that should be answered by President which compel us to think that it might be a pre-planned discussion. However, audience participation is a major thing in Facebook live where users can interact in the real time through posting their comments and reactions.
This is not The First Time Mark Zuckerberg and Obama are Sitting Together
This is not the first time Mark Zuckerberg and Obama are sitting together for a discussion rather Obama ventured into Facebook’s HQ office in 2011 to take part in a meeting with Mark Zuckerberg conducted in town hall style.
Entrepreneurs from around 170 countries will take part in this 2016 GES during this week.
