PicsArt, the largest social photo editing app and creative community, and Sanrio, the global lifestyle company known for the Hello Kitty brand, are partnering to bring Hello Kitty stickers, backgrounds, frames and collages to PicsArt’s creative community, of over 90 million monthly active users.
The Hello Kitty packs are available for purchase today in the PicsArt Shop and can be used with any photo from personal collections, or any of the nearly 10 million free to use and edit images available on PicsArt, marked with the #freetoedit hashtag.
Hello Kitty fans can also use PicsArt’s wide variety of more than 3,000 editing tools, like filters, AI magic effects, text, fonts and more to customize their Hello Kitty artistic creations. Once images are shared as #freetoedit on PicsArt, those images can then be remixed by anyone in the PicsArt community, enabling further personalization with every new remix.
The full set of five Hello Kitty content packs, containing more than 50 individual assets, are available for purchase in the PicsArt Store, starting today and will be available until May 2018. Packs cost $0.99-$4.99 and contain stickers, frames, collages, and backgrounds of Hello Kitty plus her favorite accessories. New packs with other Sanrio characters will be released later this year.
We are witnessing a surge of remixing with brands on PicsArt, we’re now seeing upwards of 300,000 remixes daily, and a growing portion of those are with brand-related content.
Said PicsArt CEO Hovhannes Avoyan.
Working with Sanrio gives us a unique opportunity to provide the PicsArt community with content they’ve come to love and enables creativity with that content. Fans can use our new Hello Kitty assets in a fun and personalized way.
Branded content on PicsArt, such as Hello Kitty stickers, frames, and backgrounds, give fans new ways to engage with the products and brands they love. As an image or sticker is discovered and remixed on PiscsArt, fans spend time creatively interacting with the brand and also share their creations on and off PicsArt, bringing more exposure to the brand via social connections.
Fans can easily share remixes with friends on all major social channels including iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
