Virtual reality is becoming highly popular with companies coming up with new and feature rich virtual reality platform every now and then. That being said, Google too is not behind in the race and they are ready to bring out their own VR platform, Daydream in the coming week.
So, it is must say that 2016 is a great year for VR and there are much more to see in the recent months. According to a report the company is now trying their best to deal with several companies to create and share the VR related contents.
Google is Ready to Bring Out VR Platform, Daydream
It is reported that the parent company Alphabet of Google is spending huge money for content on this platform and it will not be just virtual reality video games rather users will be able to enjoy the sports league and movies as well on that platform. You can expect to have contents from popular sites like YouTube, Hulu, NBA, HBO etc.
This is actually the Android of VR that will run on Android 7.0 Nougat and all those Smartphone that will be interested in supporting this platform need to meet some hardware requirements. That is, Google will provide the platform and companies need to build hardware to have support to that platform very much like the Android operating system.
Google has stated in May that most of the companies such as Samsung, Huawei, LG, HTC, ZTE, ASUS have agreed to build the Daydream ready Smartphone. Also according to a report, Huawei is ready to design such a device. HTC is rumored to bring their next Smartphone, so it too can be Daydream compatibility.
So just wait for few more days and get the real taste of Daydream VR platform by Google.
