With the announcement of X-A3, a new version of the x-series of mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, Fujifilm has brought a good news to the people who love taking selfies. This camera comes with several improvements over its predecessor such as better autofocus, 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor, and a sensor that turns up 180 degrees.
The addition of slide-and-tilt mechanism made this camera’s screen rotation 5 degrees better than X-A2. It should make the use of the camera easier at arm’s length. Other features that will make you exciting about the new X-A3 are skin brightening function and smile detection feature. Other features are eye and face detection features that were also included on the X-A2.
X-A3 is not only for the people who are selfie fanatic, if you are not interested in selfie then also you can go for this camera as it has 77-point autofocus system with 49 points in Single Point mode besides having the 24.2-megapixel sensor. Fujifilm did not stop here, the company has also added more vaunted film simulations- PRO Neg.Std and PRO Neg.Hi to make the total number on the X-A3 to more than 10.
The camera will be available with the f3.5-5.6 OIS II kit lens (16-50 mm) for the price of $599 from October and you can choose from several color options such as pink, silver and brown.
Along with the announcement of X-A3, Fujifilm also made an announcement for a new broad angle prime lens. This new lens is named as XF 23mm f2 R WR and it will be compatible with all interchangeable lens X-series cameras from Fujifilm. This dust and weather resistant lens which can focus in 0.05 seconds when used with the X-T2 and X-Pro2, is available for the price of $499. If you are interested in buying this lens then you will have to wait until September.
