Microsoft has developed a way to please both developers and businesses using the Windows software. Microsoft intends to connect its developers to their respective businesses.
The tech giant just announced that they are going to be able to put their apps on the market in volume to all those who are running the Windows 10 operating system. An estimated 300 million devices are running the system as of now.
This is good news for many of the businesses as they not only get the awesome features from Microsoft they have been getting. They can now purchase all apps they need through the Windows Store for Business. This gives them the chance to easily access the Windows apps and spread them to their workforce on all devices that are running the Windows 10 software.
Windows Store for Business is also letting businesses get volume discounts on all the apps that a business decides to purchase. The feature is only at the moment available to users of the Windows 10 Enterprise on their computers and tablets. This makes it easy to integrate the volume app purchases.
The good news is not only for businesses. Developers now also have a new market to tap into because many businesses will be enticed by the need to buy apps in bulk at discount prices. The discount prices have not been released as yet, as there are still negotiations between developers and Microsoft to be done.
The Windows Store for Businesses was only open for free apps before, but the new volume app purchase feature has been introduced the company plans to add even more purchase options to the Store. It plans to offer invoicing, organizational app purchases and volume discounts too.
Supported countries of the venture at the moment are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, the U.S. and others.
