If you get an email encouraging you to upgrade to Windows 10, take heed – some scam emails are promising download links to Microsoft’s new OS, but are actually pushing malware onto unsuspecting PC users.

According to the Cisco blog, these emails may appear legit at first glance, originating from a microsoft.com email address with the blue-and-white color scheme of Windows 10’s branding.

However, Cisco reveals that a quick look at the email header reveals that the message actually originates from IP address space allocated to Thailand.
