Last year Asus launched its ZenPad S, and now Asus is pairing up with Verizon to launch its ZenPad Z8. This new device, again, promises the lowest costs of tablet, with its retail price only $249.99. Here are some of the specifications that have been released so far are:

  • 7.9-inch display with 2048×1536 display
  • Snapdragon 650 hexa-core 64-bit processor
  • 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage
  • Up to 128GB of expandable storage
  • 8-megapixel rear-facing camera
  • 2-megapixel front-facing camera
  • Android Marshmallow

Asus revealed the news earlier this morning, and online polls show people pre-ordering the device since then. Asus, while being highly rated in devices, has made it possible for customers who have low disposable income to purchase tablets, unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Tab and Apple iPad, who are hefty expensive.

ZenPad Z8 is Now Available for Pre-order

The ZenPad Z8 is now available for pre-order and will be stocked in Verizon stores on 23rd June. Even if the price is a bit higher than S series, the tablet is not much of an upgrade. The tablet had a typical 5 megapixel camera, just as much as storage as this one, and an opportunity to purchase with 64GB space. So far, the only thing that differentiates ZenPad Z8 is the its new processor and slightly different look.
